To
enable us to offer a complete service to this extensive range
of customers it is essential to embrace all aspects of the
finishing trade, from the chemical stripping or shot blasting
of previously painted components, through the pre-treatment,
such as alocrom 1200, to the screen printing of the finished
product.
Newly manufactured parts are thoroughly degreased, using
highly sophisticated plant in which the work is lowered into
pure solvent vapour (Trichloroethylene) which condenses on
the cold surfaces of the components, dissolving the oily contaminants
and flushing away the non-soluble debris as the condensate
flows from the surface back into the plant sump.
To
accommodate the different shapes and sizes of the components
a variety of ovens are necessary to cure the electrostatically
applied powder and stoving paints, so whilst we are able to
coat aluminium extrusion up to 5 metres in length, we are
also equipped to coat large frameworks, signs and panels of
all shapes and sizes, but also the smallest of brackets and
plates painted by the thousand.
Plastics
and wood require specialist treatment since it is essential
to apply the appropriate product to gain maximum adhesion
without causing any adverse effects to the material being
coated.
To complete the service we offer, screen-printing puts the
finishing touch to the painted parts, where this is appropriate.
From the collection, by our own vehicles, through the preparation
and painting process to the careful inspection and packing
to the individual customers' requirements, we pride ourselves
on our professionalism, whilst always ensuring a personal
and friendly approach, understanding the specific need of
each customer to ensure a long mutually rewarding business
relationship.
